Commonwheel Artists Co-op's 41st Annual Labor Day Weekend Art Festival in Manitou Springs is always filled with art and music the whole family can enjoy.

We are happy to announce the return to Memorial Park in Manitou Springs for the 2015 Art Festival.

Long considered the premiere art festival in the Pikes Peak Region, it is a celebration of original fine art and contemporary crafts that is enlivened with talented local musicians and specialty food items. For 41 years, a diverse group of potters, jewelers, painters, sculptors, photographers, glass artists, and more, will be displaying their artwork that the Commonwheel jury selects. These artists apply come from the Pikes Peak Region, and neighboring states to share their creations with art appreciating visitors at this juried art festival. Art patrons will be able to visit with the artists who will be waiting to talk with art patrons at their booths filled with high quality, yet affordable, artwork.

Our music coordinator enlists talented local musicians to perform a variety of styles of music adding their own original touches to create fun, danceable musical offerings all weekend long. Art patrons always find themselves stopping to listen to one or more performance that catches their attention as they shop the art-filled booths.
Stimulate your child's creative side when they experience various fun art-related activities around Manitou Springs Memorial Park. At our Kids Art Activities Booth children are invited to express their creative side with a hands-on art project or create a drawing. Here anyone can also have his or her faces painted. Jim Jackson from the MAT lets kids add color to the air by creating giant bubbles. These activities introduce children to art in fun and exciting ways and encouraging them to make it a part of their lives forever.

Eco-friendly food service and delicious treats make this a great place to meet friends for lunch before exploring the art booths. Enjoy a wide variety of exotic and familiar fun foods at the nine food booths you will find in a tree-shaded food court. The food booths are diverse and offer some tasty treats rarely found at other festivals.
