| Description: | The 40th Annual Art in the Park will be held at Legion Park in the heart of Gunnison, Colorado. The event features original fine art and crafts exhibited by local artists and artists from surrounding states. Art in the Park is sponsored by the Gunnison Branch of the American Association of University Women as an annual fundraising event. Artists pay a small registration fee which helps fund local education and community projects. | ||

| Activities | This is a family oriented event. In addition to exhibits, there will be refreshments for sale and a number of activities for children, such as face painting and games. Artists are encouraged to submit an application to show their work as soon as possible. First time entrants are asked to submit representative pictures or slides of their work for review by the selection committee | ||

| Legion Park is a located on Hwy 50 (Tomichi Blvd) just a few blocks east of the center of Gunnison (Tomichi and Main Street). The park is on the north side of the street. | |||
