Punkin Chunkin is an annual ritual where people travel for miles to see how far they can lob a gourd. It's the 16th year for this zany event that engages the energy and ingenuity of youth and adults, while inspiring a fresh twist of creativity. This year we have a full mile range to entice the "Big Guns" and make the competition more exciting.

The event includes launch divisions for various age categories and different devices (trebuchet, catapult, etc.) Prospective chuckers have an opportunity to learn about how to participate at an upcoming informational launch meeting on August 7. There's no need to commit, so all are welcome to come learn more about how to take part in this year's competition.
