| Description: | The Old World Merry Market will be one of only three of its kind in the State of Colorado. The quality of an old world market depends on creating and maintaining an old world atmosphere. The location of the Market in and around the historic buildings of the Western Museum of Mining and Industry sets the impression of walking in history while the quality and uniqueness of vendor offerings speak of the workmanship and pride of artisans who love their craft. The Old World Merry Market is sponsored by a nonprofit service organization, the Tri-Lakes Women's Club, to raise money. All proceeds will be given out into the community in the form of grants. The Club members are committed to creating an experience rather than just a shopping opportunity by opening the Market to all without admission fees, offering a family area with games and activities, hosting food trucks with excellent food, and offering free entertainment. | ||
