Colorado Springs Horsemans Day was started in 2009 by the folks at Colorado Equine Veterinary Services (CEVS) as a FREE equine educational forum. Horsemanship clinics and informational sessions are conducted by subject matter experts throughout the day. Over the last four years, this event has grown by leaps and bounds, having moved its location to the Norris-Penrose Event Center, drawing horse owners and non-horse owners alike.

In 2013, Colorado Springs Horsemans Day reached the greater Colorado Springs area of nearly one-half million people via television, radio, and digital billboard ads, as well as local newspapers and various other print ads. This one-day event drew an excess of 1,400 people. We expect this event to continue to grow in 2014. Similar advertising strategies will be employed with a plan to print a minimum of 1,000 event programs.

This free to the public, educational event is hosted by CEVS and is made possible by the generous sponsorships of national and local companies such as Zoetis, Adequan, Ferguson Buick/GMC, Potestio Brothers Equipment, Prairie View Family Care, Knobbs Chiropractic, Scott Hoelting Accounting, Rock Solid Chiropractic, the Pikes Peak Library District, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, MWI, Platinum Performance and many others.
