| Description: | High Peaks Art Festival June 23 & 24, 2012 Nederland, CO The 12th Annual High Peaks Art Festival is a friendly outdoor, juried exhibition of fine arts and crafts in a beautiful mountain setting in Nederland, Colorado. The Festival is complemented by live music and food booths. Each year we feature a local non-profit. The 2012 Featured Non-Profit is the Nederland Community Library Foundation, whose booth will be a celebration of books and book arts. Organizers will focus marketing efforts on drawing the art connoisseur from Colorados front range and the surrounding mountain towns to gather for a weekend of art and music. A 12-page full color Festival Guide will be distributed; minimum of 11,000 copies. High Peaks Art Festival is pleased to announce that net profits will be used within the Nederland community to sponsor art related activities, including the May/June Art at the Center juried art exhibition at the Nederland Community Center. Additionally, two graduating seniors at Nederland High School will receive merit-based art scholarships to further their enthusiasm for creating art. | ||
