| Description: | What: The International Mead Festival (an event through the International Mead Association) is the worlds’ largest and most prestigious mead competition and festival. This event hosts both a public tasting of commercial meads and a private judging of commercial and now home made mead, entries. Since Mead is ’the Drink of Love’ then what better weekend than Valentines weekend?! Friday, February 8, 2008 5 pm – 10 pm Public Tasting Session #1 $30 advance / $35 at the door Admission price includes taster glass, collectible program, entrance to seminars (limited to 75 people so show up early to get a seat!) and of course commercial mead samples with over 100 to be served this year!. Saturday, February 9, 2008 4 pm – 9 pm Public Tasting Session #2 $30 advance / $35 at the door Admission price includes taster glass, collectible program, entrance to seminars (seating limited to 75 people so show up early to get a seat!) and of course commercial mead samples with over 100 to be served this year!.
